RULEBOOK

Vehicle conditions i class schedule

Vehicles that meet all the requirements required by the regulations for public transport vehicles can participate in the race, and they must have lighting and signalization (stop lights and turn signals) and competition equipment prescribed by the regulations.

Participating vehicles are classified into classes:

Adventure Class

  • It is obligatory to have a roll bar (minimum propositions of a roll bar are 1 solid arch; bent along or over the roof, and not welded to the roof, and to have 2 supports welded at the highest point. It must have 4 firmly fixed bases.)
  • Portals for this class are not allowed.
  • The maximum tire size is 96 cm.
  • Front winch is mandatory.
  • Appropriate lighting on the vehicle is mandatory due to the possible night part of the race.
  • Tire chains are not allowed.
  • A tree protection strap is mandatory.
  • A spanner with a minimum length of 9 m is mandatory.
  • A hook for towing back and forth on the vehicle is mandatory.
  • First aid in accordance with ECE standards or better is mandatory.
  • A fire extinguisher of at least 2 kg (or 2x 1 kg) is mandatory, which must be filled and certified.
  • 3-point seat belts or more is mandatory.
  • Helmets for the driver and front passenger are mandatory, which must be ECE tested for automotive or standard use in traffic (they cannot be recreational).
  • Oil or any other liquid must not leak from the car.
  • Treads and anchors are allowed.
  • Tripmaster is required.

Challenge Class

Before vehicle registration, a rigorous inspection will be carried out, so please prepare all the equipment at the start of the verification control. Vehicles that do not meet these minimum conditions will not be accepted.

Rules, Regulations and Penalties

  • All participants must be of legal age (minimum 18 years).
  • Drivers must have a valid category B driver’s license.
  • The race consists of several roadbooks and several special exams.
  • It is not allowed to help the participants during the race by third parties.
  • During the race, help is allowed only from other teams and only those who are still participating in the race.
  • During the race, the crew must have helmets and seat belts fastened at all times, except when not in the vehicle.
  • The vehicle must not drag anything behind it (winch rope, cable, spanner or any accessory).
  • The winch rope must be wound at the start and finish.
  • During the special exam (after the start or before the finish), the rope from the winch or the attached strap can be IN or ON the vehicle, but never in the cabin with the crew.
  • The driver and navigator (passenger) can cross the finish line or start only if they are both in the vehicle.
  • Anyone who pulls out a stake or tape in a special exam will be penalized (10 minutes extra time for the stake, 5 minutes extra time for the tape).
  • Every stage will have a maximum passing time (set time), if you do not pass 1/3 of the track in the set time, it makes no sense to continue driving towards the roadbook.
  • If the crew doesn’t start the stage, total time will be 100% worse than the set time.
  • If the crew start the stage and reach 20-50% of track, total time will be 70% worse than the set time.
  • If the crew start the stage and reach more than 50% of track, total time will be 50% worse than the set time.
  • Each stage will have a certain set time and a certain number of pass controls. The set time will be divided by the number of pass checks. For each stamp pass of the pass control that is missing at the end of each stage, for this stage the value of control x2 will be added.
  • Before the start line of the track, the crew can remove everything they do not need from the car and they cannot use it before the finish line because it will be classified as outside help.
  • If a crew member is ill or injured during a race, he may be replaced by another member.
  • The replaced member has no right to continue the race in any other vehicle.
  • A crew with a replaced member may remain in the race for the prize; and the same can receive a reward.
  • If some crews have a spare vehicle, they must report it and check whether it meets the prescribed technical requirements before the start. Different crews can later use this vehicle as a replacement, but only once is the replacement of the main vehicle allowed. After that, he must be brought to the finish line of the race.
  • If a vehicle is seriously damaged during a race, each judge has the right to stop it and send a crew to repair the vehicle. After such a situation, the vehicle must pass an urgent technical inspection that will be organized before continuing to drive.
  • The driver and co-driver can change during the race whenever they want.
  • The winner will be the team with the best time collected together with all stages of the whole race.
  • All crews are required to pay the default fee before technical inspection of the vehicle.
  • It is strictly forbidden to consume alcohol or other opiates during the official part of the race.
  • Participants are allowed to use all types of advertisements on their vehicles as long as advertisements are not placed in the places provided for registration plates and registration numbers, in places that reduce vision, they do not contain inscriptions of any political content, or any hate speech.
  • Participants are obliged to stick on the vehicles all the stickers that the organizing club distributed at the start of the race.
  • During the official part of the race, only the driver and co-driver can be in the vehicle.
  • The vehicles will start according to the ordinal number they provided on the prologue that is driven on the first day of the race, after the verification of all registered vehicles. Vehicles that did not drive the prologue and want to approach the race, they will be assigned start numbers chronologically depending on the application, with set time of prologue x2.
  • The start of the next stage determines the placement from the previous stage.
  • Each crew is obliged to appear at all given time controls, and other given points.
  • Vehicles will start at 2 minute intervals. In the event that the crew in line to start does not show up on time, the organizer will start the next crew at the scheduled time of the next crew. The crew that was late to the starting line has the opportunity to start after all the vehicles start, provided that its time runs from the moment when it should have started, ie from the moment of the assigned start time.

Race discipline

  • All participants in the race are required to comply with traffic regulations in public transport.
  • Drivers are especially obliged to respect the speed limits on the roads, especially when driving through populated areas and those emphasized by the organizer in the roadbook. Any non-compliance will be punished with an additional 60 minutes of total time. This restriction does not apply to special exam tracks that are closed to public traffic.

Penal regulations

  • Crews whose vehicles do not have start numbers or race sponsor stickers.
  • Any irregularity, offense or unsportsmanlike conduct of the participants.
  • Interference with overtaking (failure, inability, inability or other reason), do not allow other crews to overtake him, they have the right to remove it or record it with an audio / video recording which they will forward to the organizer.
  • Setting obstacles on the road, moving or removing signs placed by the organizers.
  • Taking narcotics, alcohol or other intoxicants during the competition.
  • If any attempt at fraud is established regarding the prescribed technical conditions of the vehicle.

Complains

  • All complaints, appeals, etc. must be submitted to the race organizer, in writing, for a fee of 100 EUR, as soon as possible after a problem, misunderstanding or any irregularity (immediately after the goal of the stage, and before the start of the next stage).
  • In case of acceptance of the appeal, the money will be returned, while in case of rejection of the appeal, the money will be withheld.
  • Decisions on appeals are made by the race organizer, judges and a commission consisting of:
    • Referee
    • Promoter
    • Independent member

Other regulations

  • All competition referees are obliged to be fully acquainted with the Rules of the competition and to confirm this by signing the application form upon arrival. By signing, they undertake to comply with all provisions of the Ordinance. The provisions of the Rules may not be changed in any sense during the competition, unless the organizer does not allow it due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
  • Participants drive at their own risk, with full moral, material and criminal responsibility.
  • Part of the meeting of this race will be held in public traffic, so it is necessary to comply with the regulations and orders of the traffic police.
  • The organizer of the race reserves the right to change parts and sections of the roadbook and special exams during the competition, to terminate the competition or to exclude certain crews from further competition.
